Youth Musical Theater Company Staff
With a staff that consists of a dramatic director, a choral director/ accompanist, and an assistant director we can stage a musical for the cast to be proud of. A producer/manager who is proficient with set construction and lighting has enabled the shows to have relatively high technical quality.

Teaching Staff

Director/Music Director  Jennifer Boesing , is a singer/actor, director and voice teacher living and working in the Bay Area. She studied acting with Sanford Meisner at the Neighborhood Playhouse in New York City, and earned a Masters in Music from the San Francisco Conservatory of Music, where she received the Award for Outstanding Achievement in Opera Performance.  A veteran performer, she has worked in the theater for over 20 years and has been teaching and directing for nearly ten.  Check the Oakland Opera and Oakland Symphony calendar to see her own performances. Jennifer was music director of YMTC’s 'Kiss Me Kate' production in 2000, and the music and stage director of last year’s production of “Les Miserables”.

Assistant Director and Accompanist Skye Atman is an accomplished pianist who has performed throughout the U.S. and the U.K. She received her Masters of Music at the University of South California and specializes in accompanying singers and instrumentalists. Skye teaches piano both privately and at the East Bay Center for the Performing Arts in Richmond.

Choreographer and Organization Assistance: Pam Crane, received her BA in English and Drama from Occidental College in Los Angeles.  While there, she studied dance with Charlene Baker, who was Agnes DeMille's dance captain for several years.  She has appeared in a number of shows in the East Bay, including productions with Berkeley Opera, Contra Costa Musical Theater and Diablo Light Opera.  Pam's past choreography credits include "Kiss Me Kate", "Anything Goes" and "Guys & Dolls."
